Status of the game

My apologies for my absence and lack of management of the game for the last few weeks. The past month, especially the last three weeks, has been a real ball breaker at work. The long hours, working on my days off, holiday events and staffing problems have completely consumed my mental energy and creativity for CoC. To top it off, I've been made a better offer to help run another kitchen and have decided to take it. Much better pay and a killer, full benefit package that I simply can't refuse. So for right now, I don't see being able to finish this scenario within the next few weeks. This is NOT a notice of CoC closing down. I just need to suspend it until I can devote the time to it. I hope everyone will wait out the downtime, but I understand if you want to opt out and find a more active game. However, if you don't mind waiting, I'll get us back on track as soon as I can.

I am having a very bad year so far, on unemployment for the first time in my life...
be glad your working brother the casino has laid off over 400 so far (including me) and there is no end in sight yet.

So I don't really have "my head in the game" either.

We may try to sell the house and move back to Florida - my wife's family owns a few bars and at least there would be work for me down there - besides we kinda miss the ocean anyways....I'll let youse guys know what's up as soon as we figure out what we are doing.
