Jeter nodded, only seeming to half pay attention to the instructions for use of the chloroform. He harbored a deeply hidden doubt that it would even work. Chloroform was meant to fell creatures of their corporeal world, and he was beginning to wonder if Wenton still qualified. He suppressed a shudder, reaching beneath his coat and feeling his fighting knife. He had taken it on many a journey to South America when he was a younger man and spent more time in the field. It had drawn and tasted blood, though Jeter never cared for it. He also still held the Spanish Tome. He figured it was bait for Wenton, and he did not much relish giving the possessed man an excuse to focus on him, but the man must be stopped.
He sat quietly, waiting to arrive at the bus station.

OOC: I'll begin two separate threads this weekend for the Bus Station and the Panther Club stakeouts. You can continue to RP your preparations here if you want to. Or enjoy a tasty grease burger at the Miskatonic Diner.

Out in the fresh air, Artemis did eventually recover from the trouble he was having with breathing, though it took a while. Once it had calmed enough to allow him to do so, he fished out a bottle of medicine from his bag and took a dose while the others discussed the plans for where to head.
Artemis wasn’t sure just how much help he would be at either location, but kept his reservations to himself as the group headed for the diner. As they ate, the hapless scholar mostly just picked at the food he’d been given, finding his appetite somewhat lacking.
When they'd finished up at the diner, Artemis just quietly trailed along with the group he was travelling with, a slightly vacant smile seemingly perpetually on his face as he perpetually tried to picture himself somewhere other than his current location.
